About the Author

Born in Yorkshire, but a long time resident of Cyprus, Anthony Balkwill writes books with a gritty skin over a vulnerable core. After a career in education, teaching students to read with a sensitive eye, he is now a full-time writer and keen amateur beer-maker. The Quiet Voices, which tells the interwoven stories of two minds each with its own challenges, is his second novel.
